How To Have a Pizza Party on Your Nails:
I started with a bright purple base (Maybelline Ultra Violet), then added the shape of the pizza crust in cream and the slice in yellow (OPI My Vampire Wears Buff and Zoya Darcy, respectively). I used a light brown (Zoya Flynn) to add some shading to both the cheese and the crust, then did the same with a light orange (Zoya Arizona). With a much darker brown I lightly outline the pizza and crust, and added a few spots here and there.
I used a bright red (Essie Clambake) for the pepperoni, then added a little shading to them with a deeper red (Zoya Sooki). To finish off the pizza, I used some small dabs of cream on both the cheese and crust as highlights. For the background, I added a shadow along the top and one side of the pizza with a darker purple (Zoya Kieko), and some confetti. Top coat to smooth everything out, and blam! Pizza Party! This manicure is totally awesome

POP ART inspired nails for day 19 of #NailArtJul (I know I’m late!)
of course I was very inspired by the great Andy Warhol for these nails. The thumb was a pain to paint but I made it through!

Cosmic pizza bling.
The very talented Laura of Polish All the Nails! recently launched a web store selling nail charms and glitter: The Sparkly Shop. She sent me some of her charms to check out, and they’re all pretty great—I had trouble deciding which to use first.
These nails feature the enamel pizza charms. They’re small and flat enough to fit easily on the nails, which is nice for when you don’t feel like getting too crazy with shit. And they’re very cute. You can use the code LADY15 for 15% off your purchase from The Sparkly Shop, if you need these in your life.
